This ‘Old Skool’ tie was thoughtfully created after my cherished old one had seen better days. A design so classic and unique, it was impossible to find a replacement—so we brought it back oursleves!
Featuring the iconic 79th Armoured Division Winston Bulls Head emblem, these ties are a tribute to tradition and all those who wore the emblem before us. We’ve made them slightly longer than the originals, so you don’t have to redo your knot seven times to get the perfect length!! If you know, you know.

The Winston Bull Head Tie is a piece of living regimental history. The 79th Armoured Division, under the command of Major General Percy Hobart, adopted the famous Churchill-inspired bull’s head as their emblem – a symbol of strength, tenacity, and British determination. The History Behind the 79th Armoured Division Emblem
The 79th Armoured Division was formed in 1942 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most innovative and effective armoured formations of the Second World War. Equipped with specialised vehicles known as “Hobart’s Funnies” – named after their commanding general Sir Percy Hobart – the Division played a crucial role in the D-Day landings and the subsequent campaign across North West Europe. The Winston Bull’s Head emblem chosen for the division represented the bulldog spirit of the British fighting man. Wearing the Winston Bull Head Tie is a way of honouring that legacy and connecting with a proud line of service that continues through today’s 32 Engineer Regiment.
