To commemorate the heroic actions of the UK and indeed all Allied forces involved in Operation Market Garden in September 1944 we have commissioned this numbered Limited Edition Kraken Rum
Only 80 will be produced and each bottle will be numbered. As you can imagine, people will always want a specific number, if we can accommodate that we will, but is by no means guaranteed.
We have added a text box below for you to add your preferred number, please just list order of preference, ie 15, 63, 24 etc.
If these numbers have already been sold, you will receive the next available number, please appreciate that the obvious numbers will have gone really quickly 🙁

We will be donating bottle 01, 44 and 80 to charity events so that they can be auctioned off for charities
This limited edition 80th anniversary Kraken Rum has been specially created to honour the men of the 1st Airborne Division and the Polish Brigade who fought with extraordinary courage at the Battle of Arnhem. The Kraken rum itself is a premium dark spiced rum, bold in character and rich in flavour — a fitting tribute to those who gave everything during Operation Market Garden.
As a limited edition 80th anniversary release, only 80 bottles of this commemorative Arnhem Market Garden Kraken have been produced. Operation Market Garden: A Battle That Changed History
Operation Market Garden, launched in September 1944, was the largest airborne military operation in history. Conceived by Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery and approved by Allied Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower, its bold aim was to capture a series of vital bridges across the Netherlands and push deep into Germany – potentially ending the Second World War by Christmas 1944. Three airborne divisions were dropped behind enemy lines, tasked with securing bridges at Eindhoven, Nijmegen and the most critical of all – Arnhem.
While initial success came at Eindhoven and Nijmegen, the operation’s fate was sealed at Arnhem. The British 1st Airborne Division and the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade found themselves outnumbered, outgunned and fighting desperately to hold the northern end of the Arnhem bridge. For nine days, these extraordinary soldiers held their ground against overwhelming German forces, displaying a level of courage and determination that has inspired generations. The survivors were eventually forced to withdraw, but their sacrifice was never forgotten.
The phrase “A Bridge Too Far” entered the historical record as a tribute to those who gave everything at Arnhem. Our limited edition 80th anniversary Kraken rum pays tribute to all who served in Operation Market Garden – British, Polish and Dutch alike – and keeps the memory of their courage alive for future generations to honour.
